Where do you live and where are you from?
I live im México City where i was born and raised, so yeah I'm 100% mami latina mexicana jaja
What do you do for work?
I'm a multidisciplinary artist, I draw, design, photography, I'm a nail artist too and I make clothes.
Where do you get inspiration from?
From the never ending beauty of México and it's people, I travel a lot within Mexico and it never ends to amaze me and I feel blessed because I find beauty everywhere I go, inside México and outside.
What are you interested in?
I am very interested in the past, nature and animals seem to me a great source of inspiration and respect for everything I do, lately I am very interested in transcendence, the universe, aliens and science.
When did you start with photography?
I was always curious an attracted to it, my dad gifted a 35mm p&s Olympus camera to my mom the day I was born so since I was a little kid I loved to take pictures with that and all the cameras along the way.
Then in 2017 I stated my project “Estética Unisex” as a hobby in instagram.
When did you start taking your pictures more seriously?
In 2019 when a NY gallery was very interested in my style and vision and then they asked me to appear in a show they were planning and not too long later they invited me to Art Basel in Miami.
What is your photography about?
It started as simple portraits of objects or situations that captured my attention at the time, it was something purely personal.
What does the geraldine of the future expect from the geraldine of the present?
The Geraldine of the future only hopes to reach an advanced age where she can look to the past with joy and respect, knowing that she did everything she wanted when she wanted, that she traveled, she loved, knew everything she could, that her mind was never closed and that helped create a better reality and is ready for transcendence.
