Where do you live and where are you from?


I live in Beachwood Canyon, in Hollywood. I was born in Santa Monica and grew up in Malibu. Born n’ raised baby!


What do you do for work?

I am a photographer and director, with previous experience working in fashion.


When did you know you wanted to become a photographer?

When an ex girlfriend bought me a film camera when I was 18 and I haven’t put a camera down since.


Whats your favorite holiday?


Halloween. I love a good spook and the energy leading up to halloween.


We all miss parties. If you could plan your ultimate party what would it look like? Who would be there? What would go down?


Costume murder mystery party at the Chateau. And the year is 1969.


What are some of your future goals?

I want to publish a book of my photos, my favorite portraits of my beautiful friends and the documentation of LA over the years. I also want to direct a horror movie.


Someone hands you the AUX at a party, what do you play?


The Cramps.


How would you describe yourself in three words?


Introvert, Inquisitive, Extrovert.


How do you unwind at the end of a long day?


A long shower with lavender.


Whats your favorite thing about being a photographer?


I think in a cinematic way already, and photographs allow me to capture moments and relay them back to the world from my own perspective. There's something about the finite nature of a photograph that captures not just a person but a whole atmosphere, moods, memories, energetic moments.

Dave LaChapelle


Who are your role models?


Grey Williams, Annie Leibovitz, Sandy Kim, Petra Collins and Helmut Newton.


If you weren’t a photographer what would you be?


I would be a scuba diving instructor in Maui.
