Do you believe in aliens?
Hell yea! Without a doubt. My paranormal experiences and aliens in general inspire most of my songwriting!
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
Waking up with the sun, brewing some black coffee for the road, driving out to some small country town that I’ve never been to and spending the day antiquing and hearing all the crazy stories from the older locals.
If you hadn’t taken the path of an artist, what do you think would you be doing?
Something I had definitely considered before deciding to go the creative route was going to school to become a wildlife biologist. A few years back, I spent a lot of time volunteering with a local wildlife sanctuary and had the opportunity to be really hands on and rehabilitate a lot of critters! I fell completely in love with the work. I would’ve loved to open up my own animal sanctuary. But I guess it’s never too late! Perhaps later in life?
How do you spend your free time?
Taking photos of weird little insects that I find, painting, fiddling around with video editing, gardening, bird watching, looking for ghosts.
If you could be any where in the world right now, where would you be?
In the Mojave desert. I’ve been living in the mountains for the past year and I am seriously jonesing for a sweet desert breeze and some Joshua trees.
What do you collect?
Houseware items from the 60s & 70s. Primarily coffee cups & glasses!
Something new you wanna learn this year?
I’m going to learn how to disco dance! Ya know, it’s just one of those random things I’ve been wanting to do since I was a little kid.
Guilty pleasure?
90s/early 2000’s teen dramas. (*cough* Dawson’s Creek *cough*)
What talent would you want to possess if you could?
I wish I had mad guitar shredding skills, honestly.
What inspires you the most?
Watching others be inspired. Seeing people be so immersed in their passion that it overflows into the life around them. I love when you can feel someone’s passion and spirit.
Any plans for an album in the near future?
Oh, I thought you’d never ask! Totally. I plan to have my first single released by the end of the summer and a full album out by sometime in 2022. I’m really excited about it!
